Let’s take a break from my own enxperience with Dongqiao Li and take a look at the many recent news reports about Dongqiao Li. in the media. This was the first blog/website to mention Dongqiao Li and that resulted in victims coming forward to police. However, I am most grateful to the press and other media for getting involved and writing about Li. The media has proved most valuable, and I thank all those journalists who have written about Li.
Most notably, I am thankful to James King from Channel 7 for first exposing Li in the media in early 2025 with a thorough and impressive investigation in which he interviewed alleged victims of Li’s.
I am also grateful to Ben Grubb of Gay Sydney News for his dedicated reporting of Li’s arrests and court appearances in Melbourne and subsequent custodial sentence. Ben also successfully challenged a media suppression order which prevented details of Li’s court case and name being reported by the media. He also alerted the magistrate in Melbourne to Li’s lengthy criminal history of which she was unaware.
Thank you again to all those journalists who have written about Li. Below I thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of all the various articles written about Dongqia Li since early 2025.
